Why do some people in the same family get destroyed by black mold… while others are completely fine?
Why do two kids develop autism while their siblings are completely normal?
Dr. Dan Purser explains the hidden genetic issue behind both: a homocysteine problem that disrupts the transsulfuration pathway — the pathway responsible for making ~90% of your glutathione.
Without enough glutathione, your body simply cannot clear toxins. Mold, heavy metals, environmental chemicals… they stay stuck. This is why some people get chronically ill and others don’t, even when living in the exact same house.
In this episode we cover:
How a genetic disruption in the transsulfuration pathway causes low glutathione
Why most “glutathione” products on Amazon do nothing
The only two patented forms that actually work
Real cases of black mold toxicity and autism improvement
Why checking genetics is more important than just checking a homocysteine level
This is root-cause medicine — not symptom chasing.
Let's say you're a mom. You're married. Uh you guys have you and your husband found a great farmhouse in Michigan. Can't wait to get in there. Uh I've lived in Michigan. My parents used to live there for a while and uh love the state and um and you guys move in. You and your four kids move in and you're
going to be remodeling it. You can't wait to get in there. It's gone 8 acres. What you guys have been waiting for. You're going to grow few cattle, some hogs, and just have fun with it. show your kids about farming and you get super sick like some kind of weird allergy problem, hay fever problem when
you move in until your kids get really sick and you and you think it's a cold maybe to begin with that you guys have gotten. It keeps going on and on and on and on and you start losing weight. You get really ill. No one can figure it out. You go to doctor after doctor.
Someone finally goes, "Could that be a black mold problem?" you get a black mold test and you t have tons of black mold. They try to treat you for it with all these weird things that don't work and um and you you get lost. You're just you have to get out of the house.
Listen, don't leave the house. Um that's a homoying problem you have. That's why two of your kids, not all four, and that's why your husband and you he you have the homo assisting problem. He doesn't. If you have a homocyine problem
that's causes a disruption your transpiration pathway, you can't clear out things that shouldn't be in your system like black mold, like other toxins. You can't get rid of them. Uh because you don't make enough glutathione with that disruption in your transforation pathway. The other
scenario I see all the time are families that have three or four kids. Two of the kids have ASD on the spectrum, autism, whatever you want to call it. Uh and um and it's worsening, worsening, worsening. Um while the other two are
just fine and you you and your husband are just looking at each other going, "What? What happened? Why why did little Bobby and Susie get nailed with this?" And the other two are normal and just shattered by it. Well, those kids have a homoyine problem that
it's a genetic issue. They just happen to be the one roll the dice, got the right gene, snips that disrupted their transparation pathway. You don't make 90% of your glutathione. You cannot clear out those toxins if you have a disruption in your transforation
pathway. You don't make 90% of your glutathione. And that's how you clear it out. And so you have to give them a glutathione that works. Perfect. Yeah, that's great. Okay. Yeah. Perfect. Perfect. Okay. Did you want to
film anything else? [snorts] You have a homoying problem. you have a disruption in your transforation pathway. That's how I make the diagnosis. I look at your genetics and so I don't check yourine level. I don't really care that much about it in the
beginning. I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with you. So I look at your genetics and if you have one of 22 snips or like I saw this week several with eight of those 22 SNIPS methylation snips that are disrupted or broken, your transuleration pathway is broken. That
means you don't make 90% of your glutathione. [clears throat] What does that mean, Dr. Perer? Well, that means you can't detox. That means you can't remove toxins. Glutathione. What does I'm not making up some crazy word. I'm not telling you to go get enemas and all this. It's
actually medical science. If you have a disruption your transparation pathway, you're not able to remove certain toxins because you have a disruption. And it's a genetic issue. It's a homoyine issue. Um, and I see 15 patients a day for
genetics. I see 15 patients every day who have a homoyine problem. They have other problems too. Uh, some of them do, some of them don't. Um, it's according to what how God blessed or I don't know, I shouldn't use that terminology probably, but according to how they got
cursed in life, I guess by their ancestor. Um, [clears throat] what do you do about it? Well, there lies the problem. Oh, yeah. Let's go back to why does some people in the family are why is one child autistic while the other two aren't? That child,
you guessed it, has almost cystic problem. I've now checked 250 kids with this theory. Uh, and every single one of them that has ASD or spectrum, non-verbal, self- stemming or whatever, they have a homoyine problem. 95% get
better when we give them glutathione. But here lies the rub. And it's for the black mold people, too. Here lies the rub. Here lies the problem. There are 70 on Amazon. They don't work. I know they claim they work. They have great ads.
Blah blah blah. They're smart people have made them. Blah blah blah. And no, they don't work. Yeah. Can you tell? Ask them if they have a patent. They have a patent. That means they verified it, validated it, proven it to the US patent office that it works. There are two patented glutathions in the US. Uh one
is the glutaril that Ny Patel and Shinron and I worked on is more their project completely their project. I just kind of helped um did some of the uh pre-clinical trial work and clinical trial work and um helped them obtain the
patent stuff like that on it. Um that's called gluteril. That's when I was down at USC doing cardiology pituitary endocrinology research with that really smart team of guys, people and women and whatever led by a US assistant surgeon general. Actually, there was a woman on
our team. Sorry about that. This is accidental I think. Uh but um but those guys were trying to develop their glutal and I got involved with it because I wonder where they were going every night. They're going to their lab in La Habra to work on it. So, and that became
a four-year ordeal. While they tried to work through the final pieces of it, I helped him with that. Um, Nyan got interviewed by Gary Brea, I think. Did he get Jackson? Did he get interviewed by Joe Rogan or we don't know that? No, Gary Brea has been interviewed by
Joe Rogan, but not the other way around. Yeah, I think Gary Breen came out with his Row. He partnered with Row. Yeah, partnered with Row. Doesn't have a patent. Enough said. Okay, you get the point. Um, uh, it looks good on paper. It sounds good. It
they sell at a good price. Looks all colorful. The ads are magic. Doesn't work. So, I'll challenge them, make you sue me, whatever. I just It might work a little, but it doesn't work properly like a patented functional
aggressive glutathione should. So, that there's the one by glut there's glutila. We actually sell that in our office and Shin let us do that. Thank you guys. Um, and that's what we usually start kids, little kids with autism or ASD or black
mal problems on. We then figured out how to make the first patented oral and only oral glutathione in the world. It's called VARS validatable, absorbable, reduced, stable, the laws of antioxidants that we all developed down in SoCal um in those years of research.
So this stuff is backed by science. Go to two glutathions.com if you want to see more information uh and see it broken down a little more. I Yeah, it's my website. I set that website up to just help people understand it. Don't pay me for a visit if you suspect
these problems. Try the glutathione. It'll clear. You can try either one. It'll clear the black mold usually very quickly within three days, seven days if you take enough of it. Enough of it varies according to your body weight, stuff like that. Um, and little kids who
have speech development problems, all that kind of stuff. You think they're on the spectrum. They can't make glutathon if they have a homocyine problem. They can't make much of it. They make about anywhere from 5 to 8%, 9%, 10%, 12% of it. Um, according to other genetic
pieces they may have, it's tragic. But when they get better, it's crazy. And parents, you know, the funniest question they ask me is little Bobby who was non-verbal, now he's four, now he's talking, now he's reading, now
he comes in their night their bedroom every night with a flashlight holding a book, ask him questions about the book because they realize little Bobby's super smart, been listening even though he was frozen in that spectrum state for years. So stmming all that, he was still listening and watching and learning. The
funniest thing they ask me is, "How do we get him to shut up now?" [laughter] It just cracks me up whenever I hear that. Um because he's driving us crazy because he talks all the time. It's like, "Yeah, well, you asked for it." So that's what you do. Uh try it. Try it
kind of before you if you want to know the genetic pieces. I'll help you with that. But anyway, just throwing this out there for y'all to ponder. But explains why it's the only thing I know explains that dichotomy. Why? Why some members of the family don't get black mold
problems, some do, why some kids are autistic, some aren't in the same family. It's a homoyine problem. Anyway, this is Dr. Dan Per. Oh, my new textbook on homo assisting because it comes out really. It's been approved all that. The final copy, it comes out soon.
Soon. Any day now. Literally. Yeah. Yeah. And we're going to have a special on it. Yes. Especially those people that have signed up to your email list to be the first notified. You can email us at info@danpersd.com has to be put on the launch team list.
You can get the you know the announcements. I have I think 19 books coming out. I know I'm I'm I'm hyper. Um so it's my ADHD. So, uh yeah, I'm on the spectrum too. Can't you tell? Anyway, this is Dr. Dan Perer. Oh, yeah. Real quick, can you break down a little
bit of why does glutathione actually help? What is it doing with homocyine to to balance things out? If you have a homoyine problem, you have a disruption in your transforation pathway. That's what I'm telling you when I say genetically you have homoyine
disease. You have a disruption in that transforation pathway. You can't make enough glutathione. You don't make 90% roughly of your glutathione. Some people are going to argue that number, but we think it's around 85 90% maybe 95% according to other junk pieces you may
have. You cannot clear toxins without in your body or things that shouldn't be there without glutathione. It's what white blood cells use to go in like like you have a pencil or something? No, don't worry about it. Anyway, it's like they use this like this is glutathione.
Here's a white blood cell going on beep beep beep and it grabs a little thing and then takes it away to your kidneys or your liver uh to be out through your bile and to your into your gut and you dispose of those toxins. That's how you get rid of stuff. Uh, but you can't do
that without glutathione. Charcoal is not going to do it. Um, coffee enemas aren't going to do it. Whatever kind of weird enemas you're doing, it's not going to do it. So, um, the glutathione will. It's that simple. If you need have that problem, you can't make it. So,
what do you do? You got two options. I don't think there'll be any others. So, um, so master antioxidant and master detoxifier. It is that. Yeah, exactly what it does. I don't, you know, who cares about the antioxidant properties? I care about the detoxifier properties.
Yeah. But when you say antioxidant, it also lowers cytoines. Lots of studies, not ours, I think seven now, big studies have shown that glutathione lowers all cytoines, suppresses their production. So also
these people tend to have a lot of inflammation because they have cytoine issues. That's a whole other book. I got that big lab coming out. Um 45 different cytoines. SNIPS. Yeah, they're all No one's ever
done that. It's a comprehensive cytoine panel. Maxen DRP comprehensive cytoine panel. I've been working with those people at Maxen. They've been awesome for the last freaking year over that as we try to put the pieces together. I don't know why some immunologist hasn't done that. I don't know why some
immunology department hasn't done that. They're putting people on all these cytoines and usually don't really know what no all these biologicals don't really know what cytoine you have and those biologicals are all designed for a specific cytoine.
They just guess from your symptoms and it's not a very good guess I think usually but I don't know that. Yeah, I see it. So what I see is not very good. Yeah. Well, now that panel exists and so we can get much more accurate to Yeah. would be available in the next I
think couple weeks. Yeah. Yeah. For sure this time. For sure. I thought it was going to be June. Oh well. I kept modifying. I sworn off that I won't do it again. I kept adding more. Um but it's hard to find them. No one's ever put them all together in one panel
before. Yeah. So it's what I do every day. Deal with these horribly ill, inflamed, awfully sick people. And uh and a lot of them just have a home assisting problem. But a lot of them have an additional cytoine problem. So I'm leaving no stone
unturned. Um and so if you're not getting the help you need or you got questions, you have more look at my reputation. I look at my reviews. Look at the families who talked about their kids with ASD in there. Um on the um you
know on on the reviews. Uh it's crazy. I've been so lucky, so blessed to help you guys and I'm here to help more of you. We're gonna try to expand to a lot more. We're adding more doctors and more people and more Jacksons and more just
coaches, everything. Yeah. Yeah. And um and if you like to be involved, send us a resume too, CV, because we're going to create we're creating an AI. Jeff, sorry. Jackson's been working hard on it. My son, um Clinton Perers's been
working hard on it. Um and, uh Andrew's been working hard on it. And I've been working hard on it. And I I created all these reports for it one after the other after other after other. I designed the genetics for it. Um it's great. It's going to be awesome. We're going to save
a lot of lives, help a lot of people. Anyway, this is Dr. Dan Perer. I love what I do every day. I love helping you guys. Um and reach out to us if you have a problem. 8017967667

Perwellness on Substack. I'm literally in the top 10 substacks now. Yeah, for medical. Yeah, I want to be number one. We're getting that girl in number one. She's not. No, I'm going to beat her. I'm going to beat her butt. So, I'm going to get there. So, my stuff's better. So, I actually
help people. So, I'm sure she does, too. But, um, anyway, thanks for watching. Real quick, I think the beginning part was muted. So, this is for Hunter when you're editing. Can you tell your analogy again real quick of the house with the mold and everything? Just walk
