Jackson Larkin, one of our Purser Wellness Coaches discusses the need to support your Inflammatory Marker Genetics and what current supplements help achieve this.
six. I'm Jackson Lurin. I'm one of our purser wellness coaches. And today I just want to talk a little bit about inflammation and the genetics behind inflammation. Let me give just one second while we get up and running everywhere.
Going to double check. Yeah. Okay. Looks like we're getting live onto all the different platforms. Uh wherever you're at, if you're on Facebook, YouTube, X, Instagram, give give a little shout out. say hi in the comments just so I can see that we are getting everywhere. Uh we love that. Um
okay. Well, yeah, inflammatory genetics. This is something really really fun that Dr. Perer has been working a lot on over the last I would say year plus. He's been working on several books that he expects to be number one bestsellers as
always. Um, and definitely I think there's a couple in here that are going to be truly mind-blowing for people all dealing with root level the deepest level genetic inflammatory markers in genes. So
yeah, we can we can really just dive right into talking about a few of these. Uh, one one cool thing I just wanted to mention is that uh we've we've had some really fun experiences lately in our practice uh specifically helping little children, babies even uh with autism
with uh dealing with the inability to detox from toxins and heavy metals from things that are administered to them right from birth. If you have any of the inflammatory genetics that we're going to be talking about today, you're not going to be able to detox things
properly. Now, there's I should have prepared it a little bit better, but there's a great image we have of the transpheration pathway, how it aligns right with the methylation cycle, and how that all really fits into the ability to produce enough glutathione,
reduced glutathione specifically. So if you have any genetic markers with methylation such as MT MTHFR, MTR, MTRR, GGH, uh CBS, there's not CBS, that's a different part, but if there's a ton of different methylation genetics, if you
have any errors in that, your transferration pathway is going to become less efficient. Transferration pathway means the methionine cycle going from methionine turning it into homocyine and eventually turning that into glutathione. And so there's tons of genes, tons of enzymes and different
nutrients that are all used throughout that whole process to make glutathione, produce enough glutathione. So when we're talking about a genetic inability to detox inflammation, we're really talking about the inability of making enough glutathione. Because when there
is too much homocyine in the transuleration pathway, if your body is making too much of it, you're going to create a lot more cytoines. And cytoines are the pro-inflammatory molecules that are very very dangerous when they have
when they have way too many of these cytoines and it causes what's called a cytoine storm which can be life-ending for a lot of people. So we want to avoid that. That's the whole idea. And so by what we can do is really boost our ability to have enough glutathione in
our body and have plenty to be able to detox and do everything else that we need to. Um, okay. I'm just wanted to double check real quick, make sure that we are streaming out everywhere. As far as I can tell, we are. Yep. At least on Facebook and on Instagram. Um, yeah, if
you guys I'm Jackson Lurin, one of our personal wellness coaches. Um, yeah, just jumping on here, do a little a little Facebook live to talk about these fun genetics around inflammation. So, like I was mentioning a little bit before here, let
me put a little message up. Um, yeah. So, what I was talking about before, Dr. Perser has done this work on inflammatory genetics, specifically all the genes around the overp production of
homocyine. This causes hyper homocyinura. That's a word you may not be familiar with right now, but you will be in the future. Especially Dr. Perser's upcoming books about all of these homoyine genes and the process to deal with it. So the we have our DRP
genetics panel. This is a customized genetics that Dr. Per and myself helped design to be the most effective for our patients right here in our clinic. And so DRP genetics, go check it out on our website or call our office um if you're curious about getting your genetics
tested. This panel looks at over 200 different genes and specifically many of these surrounding and transforation pathway. And so when you have genetic snips on any number of these and so far we have over 22
different genes that we look at specifically for homoyine issues if you're homozygous in any one of them you're going to have elevated homocyine levels. Now you may have seen a lot of people talking about homoyine levels. Um Gary Brea he's out there sharing the
good news about homoysteine how to deal with it. So everyone says just take TMG trimethyl glycine or betane and hydrates and that fixes your homoyine levels. That's a piece of the puzzle. It definitely is a piece of the puzzle and the methylation cycle. Uh but there's
more to it and even if with our MTHFR daily we have TMG in it because it's important and your body does need it for certain processes but that's not going to be the full picture of how to truly deal with the root causes of homoyine. There's great you can get your homoy you
can get your homoyine levels checked um really at any clinic or at any lab and uh and that's a good marker to look at. People always want to lower their homoyine levels and Dr. person will say anything below a seven is going to be very healthy homoyine levels. Caveat one
problem is if you have any of these 22 snips these 22 different genes around homoyine you're going to have a fixed homoyine level meaning no matter what you supplement with that homoyine level is going to remain pretty much the same and pretty much elevated and so that's
what we're trying to work around and deal with. So TMG one piece of the puzzle dealing with your homo system another piece of the puzzle but the overarching treatment or the overarching protocol that we would do is flood the system
flood your body with reduced glutathione truly functional and reduced glutathione hundreds maybe thousands of glutathione products out there in the world but how many are actually truly reduced and truly functional like at our vars glutathione that's Dr. first spent many
years developing his technology to truly reduce glutathione to cellular glutathione but that's really one of the main main options to help deal with these elevated homoyine levels now again
uh making sure some cop some comments are coming in um Debbie has two copies of I'd be curious to know which which version which RSI so do you have the C677T or the A1298C or one of each that's what you copies
it all changes it makes things play a little bit differently so let's break it down a little bit when we have the transformation pathway methionine to homocyine to glutathione you're not making enough glutathione what is glutathione what is it good for glutath
glutathione is the master antioxidant in the body it is the first and go-to first line defense against oxidative stress and oxidative damage within our cells within the mitochondria as well as throughout our blood vessels. Glutathione is ubiquitous. It's
everywhere and our body utilizes it like crazy. Since birth, all of us have made and used glutathione. Now, based on your genes, are you making and are you reducing and using enough glutathione? This is one of the major causes of aging
is able to produce glutathione. continuously lowering your levels of glutathione throughout time until eventually when we're very old and we just barely make any, then our body can't really make enough anymore. And so glutathione is very anti-aging. Every
aspect of that word, anti-aging, it helps protect cells and helps protect every organ in your body. The three main marketing terms or marketing bullet points that everyone can make with glucathon because it's been studied so well is that one it helps boost your
immune system. Fantastic. Glutathione works right on the surface of luccoytes white blood cells and helps protect the immune system at every level while fighting toxins and viruses even bacteria even different funguses and other glutathione ubiquitous does it
all. Two glutathione helps energy production. It gives you higher energy levels and that again because it works right alongside right inside the mitochondria protecting against the oxidative stress and damage caused by super oxide radicals. Those are kicked off every single time a molecule of ATP
is created. Super oxides are created as well as well as plain old oxygen and water. But a lot of those oxygen molecules get supercharged and that's why they are dangerous and our body as a whole system of defense protect against those. But again, if you have genes
around any one of those antioxidant enzymes or against glutathione, you're going to be less efficient at protecting against the superoxide damage that happens right in the mitochondria of our cells. So when glutathione is there, it helps mitochondria function better. It helps the whole cell function better.
Energy production increases. That's number two of the two three points that glutathione can be talked about for. Number three is detox. Glutathione helps detox. It helps the whole detox system. I think it's phase 2 conjugation is the
the space that it works in specifically in our detox system. But glutathione is the main molecule to go and connect onto these different toxins and then it takes it right out through your system's urinary tract or as excrement it releases those toxins and heavy metals
and other things that aren't supposed to be in your system. Gets rid of them right away. That's what glutathione does. Again, detox, energy production, and immune system support. These are the three main things that have been proved proven in many many clinical studies and
clinical trials over the decades. And so that's why those are the claims that everyone can make. Again, now this is just base level of what glutathione does. But what does a truly functional a truly reduced glutathione do? That's
where we're on the edge. That's where we're doing things that no one else really is. What does true detox look like at a molecular level? And so that's where again we see all these different genes around trion sulfuration around
homocyine around methylation. If you have deficits in any of these and your glutathione levels are lower increased cytoines is the side effect. Again cytoines are the pro-inflammatory molecules throughout our body. Um, yep.
Sorry, Brenda. Just to let you know, we are Perser Wellness, Dan Perser MD. Um, the company that we used uh to test for homoyine. We've actually right with our CMA testing, you can test for homoyine, which is really great. So, if you call
our office and say you want to get a CMA or just get homoyine testing, let them know and we can help test homoyine levels. That's helpful. Okay, back to glutathione and detox. detox at a molecular level. The increased level of cytoines that happen
from elevated homocyine during your whole life if you have these genes causes inflammation throughout your body, not only throughout the blood vessels, but in and around organs everywhere. Cardiovascular inflammation. Dr. Perer talks a little bit more and more about this all the time. He doesn't
think that cholesterol is the big bad. He thinks it's the increased cytoines caused by the high homocyine levels that causes constriction of blood vessels. Cool stuff. Really cool stuff. And so again, what how do you how do you
balance this out? What do you do to fix it? There are certain drugs out there already that are kind of doing certain things, but they're synthetic and not really helping in the long run, maybe causing more difficulties for people in the long run. But if you flood the body with truly reduced glutathione and we'll
talk about that. What is truly reduced glutathione? Flood the system with reduced glutathione. Those cytoines level. They level out. They lower and the homocyine that's there to telling to make more and more cytoines starts to calm down, starts to level out and the
inflammation disappears at the molecular level at the cellular level everything. It's incredible. So flood the body with glutathione. Give your body the other nutrients that it needs to help support the detox processes. Help support the energy production pathways of the methylation cycle and everything. Give
your body all these different things that it truly needs while also lowering the inflammation caused by cytoines. Watch these things disappear. Watch the inflammation. Watch the pain. Watch the the soreness that people get. Watch it all just disappear. It's incredible. One
unique case we just want to mention real quick. Uh I know this is controversial, but it's what we keep seeing again and again in our practice. The little babies that get all kinds of junk injected into them early on in their life. All kinds
of toxins and heavy metals that are not really needed for brand new little babies. They have these same genes too. If their parents pass on the genes of these elevated homocyine levels, they're going to have from birth elevated cytoines, the inability to detox
properly, these heavy metals, these other toxins that get into their systems right from birth. And that's what causes this widespread inflammation, even inflammation in the brain, closing down the pathways of neurons being created. What do you think's going to happen if
you have crazy inflammation in your brain from birth? Yeah, you're going to get certain diagnoses that that uh most people definitely don't want, but the best thing about this is it can be reversed. You can help it. Obviously, avoiding it isn't the best thing if you
can, but you can help your body detox from these heavy metals even from such a very young age. Uh and that's that's one of the cool things we keep seeing again and again in our practice with little babies, little little children that are
getting better. Uh so again, help that methylation pathway, help the detox pathway, boost your glutathione levels, watch those symptoms disappear. Incredible. It we're just going to be saying the same things again and again, but it works for all these different things. It's really cool. Um
Brenda is asking, "Do you sell glutathione?" We do sell our version of glutathione bars glutathione. Debbie, I'm looking across all the different platforms where the where the comments are coming in from. I'm glad you feel like we're been thinking of
you. We're thinking of you, too. Definitely, these are the the cool things that are always in our minds and we're trying to help as many people as possible. Um, so yes, let's talk about glutathione and what a truly reduced and truly functional glutathione is. What that means, our var glutathione, you can
go get it on Amazon, get it on our website, physicianesign.com. It's fantastic. We have two different versions that we offer right now. our liquid glutathione and our capsule glutathione. Both are liposomaal glutathione. Again, surface level may that doesn't look too different than
most other glutathions that are out there on the market. The difference comes in the manufacturing. Every glutathione product out there is going to say that they're selling reduced glutathione. Again, what is reduced glutathione? Reduced means that it's the functional
and active form of glutathione. Oxidized glutathione is when it's been spent. it's been used. Two glutathione molecules connect to each other. It's very sticky sulhydro group is used because it's connected to another glutathione molecule. When it's reduced, they're single and float around and that
very sticky little bridge on it goes and connects to a toxin, donates an electron to a super oxide radical. All these cool things that it does. And so it's that reduced glutathione. Those single molecules of glutathione is what your body uses to actually do all these
different things we're talking about to detox, to help produce energy, and to help the immune system. So reduce glutathione. Glutathione is so effective at what it does that even in open air, just like we're in right now,
glutathione will start to oxidize with the the oxygen molecules that are in the air. That's that's the big secret. That's what people don't realize. And so every manufacturer out there doesn't take this into consideration. So that's where Dr. Perser went down to the very drawing board of the whole manufacturing
process. So um a retailer of glutathione that sells to all the companies that puts it into their supplements will sell a package of reduced glutathione sealed completely from air purged with other gases so that there's no oxygen within the bag. That's the whole point. They
then that gets delivered to a c-acker, to a manufacturer who then takes it, puts it into a capsule, mix it into some liquid. But that whole process is exposed to oxygen. It's out in the open air. And that's where that glutathione powder maybe arrives at 98% pure reduced
glutathione. Once they start putting it in the capsules and putting it in the liquids, whatever else, 50, 40%, 30% reduced glutathione, if not less. Glutathione is that effective that it just it oxidizes in the air. And that's where all of these glutathione manufacturers are going wrong. If you're
buying one of our bars glutathione products or any of our VAS products at all, it's a truly functional reduced antioxidant. Reduce glutathione and bars glutathione. Every step of the process in our manufacturing, we make sure that it is sequestered from oxygen. This is
what Dr. Perser got patents on uh to help make this a reality. So, our liquid glutathione and our capsule glutathione, both our liposomaal products completely protected from oxygen until it literally absorbs either in your mouth or in your
gut where it can actually get to work as reduced glutathione. You're actually giving your body reduced glutathione in supplements and in these nutrients. A lot of people ask, "What about IV glutathione?" Sure, great. That would be the second best way. But when they mixed
the glutathione powder into the saline that they inject into your IV, did they do it free of oxygen? Is that saline? Has it been purged of all the free oxygen in it? We don't know. Probably not. Most likely not. So, it's going to get oxidized and be less effective even in that. So again, these are just the
the weird little nerdy topics that we love talking about, but it makes all the world of difference for our patients that are these antioxidants are actually truly reduced. So that's vars glutathione. Go look at our other videos. We've done years of content on
vars glutathione. Super super cool and amazingly effective. So I just want to do a little shout out. Oh, real quick. Yep. You can find our liquid glutathione only on physiciandesign.com right now.
Yeah. And Debbie, so many glutathions are out there. Vars glutathione we know is the best. The the one other form of glutathione that we love and what we sell in our practice as well is nine Patel's Ral Wellness. It's called Glutaril and that's a topical spray glutathione. They really sell it as a
cosmetic but it's it's varss qualified as well. It's a really really great topical product. We sell it out of our office if you call us. Otherwise, I think you can get it right from oralness.com, I think is the name. Um, glutil, that's the only other one. Far as glutathione, glutarel, those three
are our chosen and proven glutathione products. Um, if you have metal fillings, you definitely should take glutathione. A lot of times they're mercury and other things and glutathione will help detox those those metals that have slowly
And let me get that over on Instagram, too. Oh, okay. Put at the bottom of the screen that works too for a bit. Um, yep. Glue to real from oral wellness bars. Glutathione
Okay. Sorry. Type it away. Um, okay. Let's see if there's any other comments to jump in on real quick. Is this interesting to you guys? For me, I I feel like I'm such a nerd. I love talking about glutathione and antioxidants, the way it all works. Now, again, how does this work into the whole system that we that we do at First
Wellness? So, we get genetic testing done. We look at 200 plus different genetic snips, different genes, and that gives us an excellent blueprint of you of what what we can actually do to help you. our top three things that people come in with. Okay, now I'm we have top
five I'm gonna say now, but chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression have always been our top three, but now we get gut gut issues. PMT, gut issues, and inflammation, pain, and inflammation. Those are our our five things that we treat day in day out with every single
one of our patients. So, we start genetic testing is where we love to see exactly which genes we're dealing with. Um, yeah, a whole range of different genes around anxiety, around depression, MTHFR, PEMT, which is gut issues, a whole bunch of other ones, other antioxidants we
like looking at. And then with the with our genetic testing, and I want to circle back to that in just a minute, with the genetic testing, we also do the CMA, intracellular nutrient test, nutrient assay. And this is what gives us the incredibly important snapshot of
what intracellular deficiencies you have right now today. um and really from over the last 90 or 100 days. Those two together give us the perfect plan to make to make for you where we can see exactly what genes what different nutrients your your genes in your body
can tolerate and then what deficiencies you have right now in your cells and what antioxidants are going to be the most effective and protective for you. So that all together gives us all we need to make a purely customized nutrient plan. Our supplement guide is what we call it for each one of our
patients. And so a lot of times we get a lot of different family members and even though they have very similar genes and even though they may eat generally the same things in the same household, they're going to have different deficiencies and they may be absorbing things a little bit differently. So it has to be completely customized per
individual and that's what gives the greatest results. I just earlier today I was on the on a call with one of our excellent patients from California and uh she she's very I can't remember exactly how old she is. I think 50 plus, but she's been very active in in her
earlier life. She's gained a lot of weight, but then completely cut out all the toxic different foods and cut out gluten, cut out u wheat, everything. And for about seven or eight years, has been extremely on an anti-inflammatory diet, very uh very meatbased and uh has has
felt great, but has always had gut issues. The inability to really digest and process things correctly. Well, we looked at her genes. She had PMT, PEMT, and that's the gene that codes for your body to make phosphotylcholine. We're going to go down a little bit of
rabbit hole here. Phosphotylcholine is one of the main phospholipids that our body uses to make cellular membranes all throughout our body. And so, specifically in the gut, remember that in the stomach and in the in the intestines, but especially in the stomach. Our stomach has to constantly
constantly be making new linings to this the cells that make up the the stomach. And that's because of the high acidic content of the stomach constant. So we have genes to be able to make plenty of these phospholippids all the time. If you have a PMT snip, that means you're
going to be less efficient at making phosphotylcoline, less efficient at replenishing the stomach lining and the gut linings. So what do you do? We have an excellent protocol. Supplement with phosphotylcoline and choline glutathione sod. And I think there was one more
thing. I can't think of it right now. just jump on these different vitamins. Jump on the things that your body exactly is craving and needing right now. On the followup call today with her, it's been about eight or 10 weeks since she started these and she's like, "My gut is feeling great. My headaches
are gone every morning and I'm able to tolerate and digest everything so much better than I have before." Amazing. We love to hear that. We love these stories. And this is what we see all day long. again, gut issues was number five or number four of the five different things that we see with nearly every
single one of our patients. So, yep, the whole process, get your genetic testing done, get your CMA done. That gives us the perfect storm to be able to create a completely customized nutrient plan for you. And we're not nutritionists necessarily. We're not dieticians. Dr.
Mercer is an MD. Um, but what we're doing is so outside of everything else that everyone else is doing. There's a lot of integrative medicine doctors. There's a lot of holistic doctors. There's a lot of u there's another term I can't think of right now, but we're we're just kind of a mix of everything. We're not naturopaths necessarily
either. We we're personal wellness. And uh the the main way that Dr. Per talks about it is preventive medicine. Uh root cause preventative medicine is really what it boils down to. How can we avoid these major diseases and other other
things from developing years down the road? What can we do now at any point in your life to help reduce those symptoms? Root cause preventative medicine. I love that term. That's exactly what we're talking about here. Um, let me see if there's any other comments on here.
Yeah. So, yeah, if you The great thing is I'm one of our coaches here. We have Justice Woodward. He's another one of our coaches. And we're bringing on another MD to help see patients. Um, and the great part is we're not necessarily
we do not tele medicine, but we do consult from afar. Uh, so we can work with you anywhere in the US. Our testing can get shipped to you and then we just jump on a Zoom call much like this right here. This is the exact setup I talk with all of our patients with. Um, and so yeah, we just we can do Zoom calls
with you, help you get set up and then support you from afar. You don't even have to come into the practice to see us. Okay, so that's a big long trailer or whatever for for the practice of what we're doing currently. If you want to jump on these things, if you want to start addressing your intracellular
deficiencies, find out what genes are affecting you specifically, these options are available right now. Go to dand.com, give our office a call. Our receptionists are here right now. Reach out. Let's get you started. Let's get you feeling great. Otherwise, if you just want to get started with certain supplements, hey, Physician Design is a
great place to start. If you have MTHFR, all of our products are great for you there. But the one other thing I want to mention real quick, this is the other major part that Dr. Perer has been building out that we've been really working on for the last little bit. The the full treatment protocol for our
homocyine patients. How can we really truly get to the root of these inflammatory issues? And that's where our varss glutathione is the cornerstone to that. It's it's the base brick to the whole wall that we're making of
protecting you against inflammation. Now, the two other antioxidants that our body makes to help protect specifically against superoxides that are created in every mitochondria of our body are superoxide dismutase SOD and we've got a ton of content on that. We've been
making SO products and dealing with that for a long time. Superoxide dismutase and catalase. Catalase is the newer one for us and this is the one I've been working with Dr. approach around how do we make a really functional and helpful catalase product for people you need all
three superoxid dismutase catalase glutathione peroxidase and then glutathione that's the chain the sequence of enzymes antioxidant enzymes that our body uses to convert superoxide radicals into just plain O2 and water
H2O it has to go through this multi-step practice or process to be able to make inert molecules that are not going to be causing damage. So again, superoxide dismutase to catalase to hydrogen sorry to glutathione peroxidase to glutathione
and so that catalase right in the middle there is what we've always kind of bypassed and we've seen the genes for it and we've seen the intracellular deficiencies and how protective that antioxidant enzyme can be for people but we we never had created our own version.
Right now we have VARS catal support. Fantastic product for position design. And really that's the third part of the VAS trio protocol is what I've nicknamed it so far. You need all three of these to be truly beneficial against those homoyine snips
really against the inflammation caused by the cytoines. So when you can do pretty much a mega dose of all three of those that's when inflammation lowers. And again, just recently in very recent weeks and even the last couple months,
we've had some really cool case studies right in our practice, sarcoidosis and other really inflammatory problems that people are dealing with jump on the VAR trial protocol and get better. People that are bedridden, people that are sent home from the hospital to prepare for
the next life and they get better. They get better. Um, if you have been following us at least since COVID times, what we were talking about before, the cytoine storm, this huge increase of inflammation caused by the over production of cytoines is exactly what
was ending people during COVID. Uh, the cytoine storm that was happening from the virus back then. And so glutathione that go look up on PubMed, look up glutathione and SARS COVID 19. Look at all the studies now that have been done on the way that that glutathione stops
those inflammatory effects from COVID. Dr. Perer was talking about it back then in 2020. Um so yeah, that was just what we've continued to do but further develop of all the other inflammatory issues that we're dealing with. Um someone asked, "Is it okay to give the
mention glutathione to a 5-year-old?" Yes, I would specifically recommend doing the capsules because you can break them open, mix it into their pudding, mix them into the oatmeal or whatever. That's probably the easiest way to do it. Otherwise, that gluteril, the topical spray glutathione is really,
really easy to use on on little children as well. Just spray some right on the top of their feet or on their back, on their belly. Just one or two sprays. Excellent dose. Excellent. Very, very workable. Um, interesting enough that Glutil Nan Patel, the creator of of Glutaril, as well as Gary Brea, they did
a podcast recently talking about the amazing benefits of glutathione. Hey, Gary Brea just came out with his glutathione as well. So, fantastic. Good for them. Um, but yeah, we are trusted three or the bars glutathione. Those two products and glutil are the three that we know work the best.
Uh, yes. So yeah, that's the the coolest part with the FARS glutathione capsules. It's it's glutathione contained within liposomes, but this one is specifically designed. The liposomes themselves are coated and protected so that they survive the stomach acids and then
absorb in the small intestine where it actually delivers reduced glutathione. Incredible. Really, really incredible. It's a liophalization. They do a I can't remember if it's freeze drying or spray drying process to coat and then dry those liosomes so that it's an easy flow
powder. Super super cool. So yes, those capsules can be opened and mixed right into pretty much anything you want. Um as long as you're eating or drinking it right away, it's not going to dissolve too quickly. It'll get down in the stomach and absorb where it needs to. So yep, mix it right into your kids juice.
That will work just great. Um yeah, really, really well. Right. Glutil recommendation. Yep. So, gluteril or the capsules mixed into things both are going to be really really great options for that glutathion. Um, yeah. If you have any other
questions, put them in put in the comments and we can try to get to them as well. Let's see. Is there anything with less side effects than neck for support of cyine levels? So, knack an acetalcyine is really really important. It's part of
that methane homoyine mac falls right into that process right into glutathione. So the other major thing if you look in the literature in the data of glutathione mostly what everyone has done in the past is give high doses of neck an
acetylcysteine. There is even a medication used for acetaminophen overdose. I believe it's called mucist that they give in massive doses in the ER and it's just neck. And so you give your body tons of neck in the hopes that the liver can then produce and synthesize enough glutathione
and that that works to a pretty good extent. But if you have the the genes around the inability to produce sufficient levels of glutathione or other other things blocking that, it's not going to be nearly as effective as supplementing with truly reduced glutathione. That's the hill we're
willing to die on all the time as Dr. cursor is always in talks of and in the works of making true effective IV glutathione and other things so that we can have th all those benefits in extremely fast delivery mechanisms. So keep an eye on that over time we'll
we'll get there. Um how long do you take this for? Is it for life or do you cycle on and off? I do think cycling on and off things is always a pretty good measure. So when we put people on the vars trio protocol, they're going to be on a big dose like eight capsules of each of those a day. I'm working on
making a bigger dose version of it so it can be much easier to tolerate for people. But we're going to have you go on that big of a dose for a while. Your body needs all the support it can get to detox. Then we'll back it back down a little bit. So if you have these genes, unfortunately, some of these things are
things you're going to want to be on your whole life. Once I started taking glutathione, I have not missed a day uh of not taking it because I know it is that beneficial. Little side story, little background information. Dave Perer, MD, Dr. Perer. He's my
stepdad. Um, we're a family business here. Physician designed. I've been along with him since the very, very beginning. I made all the original labels and I took all the pictures and made all the video content. That's what I've always done for a very long time as I continue to study. Now, I'm actually
working seeing patients and I do full production of our products and everything else. Um, so, but we're a family business. Um, Dr. Perser for the longest time did HRTs hormone replacement therapies and that's what he built Dan Perser MD used to be called Aesthetica preventive medicine institute
in the past but he did hormone replacement therapy for a long time he was he had a terrible car wreck was in a coma almost died lost his fiance at the time in that car wreck so terribly sad and had to completely rebuild himself pulled himself up literally from the
bootstraps was in a coma had to relearn to talk and walk everything got his medical license renewed and then did everything he could to figure out how do I just not die? And so that's where he he did some great endocrinology research down in California and that's where he
learned about the intracellular testing and put together all the different things that the endocrinologists were doing with the naturopaths were doing and kind of synthesized his own version of it. And so from the very beginning doing HRTs was to save himself. And then he started looking at all of us in our
family. What was wrong with my mom? She had terrible fibromyalgia. no one could ever help it. And so he's like, "Hey, let's let's figure this out." I had one sister that wanted to do a service mission, but could never get her health into the place where she could actually go and do service. And he's like, "What
is going on? What is the root cause here?" That led him down the genetic route to MTHFR. So he developed these different principles and these different protocols just trying to help his own family first. I was one of those fibromyalgia patients that are very early fibro fibro patients. I used to
weigh almost 400 pounds, but once I got my fibromyalgia under control, I lost 150 pounds. And finally, for the first time in my life, felt truly healthy and functional. And look at I've just done so much since then. And so I I love talking about my story because
personally, I know that these things work. Get your genetics looked at, get your intracellular levels looked at, treat those deficiencies, and watch yourself get better. So, cursor wellness and physician designed are built for the family. Uh, and so
that's that's exactly why we did all these different things was to help ourselves first and then in the long run help many thousands of other people. I think Dr. Perser was giving me the numbers the other day. He's looked at over 25,000 different intracellular tests and 20,000 genetic results. And
that's what he's built his current practice on. Now is all of these different uh these different tests that we've done. All of our products have now been fully formulated and designed around those deficiencies that we see. MTHFR daily as a product is exactly
that. What are all the top deficiencies that everyone with MTHFR has? Boom. Here's a product as a daily multivitamin for you. Every every person with MTHFR is going to have glutathione issues. MTHFR is one of those homozygous snips. If you have either or of those MTHFR
snips, you're going to have homoyine issues. You're going to be making less glutathione. So, you can see in circles we go around and round and round. Um, yes, the number to call for our practice 8017967667. Let me write it out real quick.
7967667. That is our phone number for our main practice. Give a call. Uh leave a voicemail if they're not able to answer right away. Otherwise, email at info@danpersermd.com and we'll get working with you right away. Otherwise, jump on our websites, danpersmd.com, physiciandesign.com. Go
look at those different things. Look at our substack. Look at our exposts. We try to give all this information as much as we can freely to people because we know at the end of the day we want to empower you to take your life into your
own hands. Just like that patient I was talking about earlier. She already was on a fantastic life path of making all these changes to be as healthy as possible. She just needed that little bit of optimization. Didn't know what to do for that PEMT, what supplements she could really tolerate at the time. Pushed her right over. She's doing
fantastic. It's amazing. It's amazing. So optimization is the key of what we're doing. Um let's see if I missed any other comments. Um oh yeah question about homoyine levels again like I talked about earlier
on Dr. Perer won't he the homocyine level when you test it is important what's more important are the cytoine markers. So what he likes to look at is IL8. Get your loop 8. That's another test you can get done for pretty cheap
and most any lab can draw it. And so that's the marker that we base off of because the fixed homoyine level will always be there. If you have homo if you are homozygous, if you have certain genes for the homoyine related snips, it's going to be a fixed homoysteine
level. So the homoyine level itself is not the most important at least for us to look at. This is what we do. This is our protocol. So look at interlucan 8 and other cytoines that are produced because of a high homoysteine level. That's the marker that we like looking
at. And we've gained I think we have 20 or 30 labs now showing the decrease of IL8 just by supplementing with glutathione. Now that's what we're really seeing. Supplement with glutathione sod and catalase all three together. Watch all kinds of other inflammatory markers disappear. That's
what we're doing. Lines are busy. That's a good sign. I'm glad to hear that. That is always a good sign. Um, let's see. Let's see. Um, I hope this has been interesting for for you. I know I love all this and I think it's just
super helpful for people. I I'm new at at coaching doing being a personal wellness coach. I just started end of last year. So, I didn't ever really expect myself doing one-on-one consults with patients, but here I am. And I I love working with you guys. It's really
so much fun and I love seeing the progress for people. Um, if you live in the UK, let's see, Debbie, what are you saying? Um, the it's hard to get our supplements mailed to you. So, that's one thing just keep in mind. Um, we've had a lot of struggles this last year of mailing
supplements out of the US. All kinds of tariffs and other duties that are just making it really difficult. Um, but we do take patients, yes, from the UK. I I can't You'll have to call and talk to our office. I can't remember exactly if our genetic testing or if our CMAs I
know one or both are able to be shipped to you. They just have to be drawn at least the CMA has to be drawn on a certain day so that it can be shipped back in time to be ran their test here. So we do we do work with international patients. Dr. Brer loves talking about it. We have people in Dubai. We have
them in in the UK, in Australia, Singapore, all over the world. Uh we've really worked with people everywhere. Getting testing to and from you sometimes a little bit difficult. Supplements are really hard. We have our recommendations that we can try to help get you to the closest alternatives wherever you're at. For example, in
Australia, everything we've been talking about today with glutathione, you have to have a prescription for glutathione in Australia now or a doctor's note or something. And so, yeah, we can't even sell our products to Australia anymore uh directly to consumers because of
regulations. They know Clutathon is actually helping people. So, hey, that's really great. That's really great to know. Um, thank you, Diana. I'm glad you love our glutathione and our sad those capsules uh both of those products I worked very very closely with Dr. Per
making all these ones but I was the one that led up the the main conceptions of those uh of those products as capsule products. I love the glutathione capsules have been game changer for so many of our patients. Let me grab this real quick.
We have our liquid glutathione. This was our original. There we go. Maybe there we go. This was our original vase glutathione. This was the original patented version that Dr. Perer made and it's always tasted horrible.
That's just kind of the nature of glutathione, the liquid ones. If you get a liquid glutathione that tastes good, I'm willing to bet it's not a it's not a very good glutathione product. This glutathione, super acidic, very sulfur tasting, and that's just that's the nature of the beast. That's how glutathione is. So, we've done our best
to make this taste as good as it can, tolerable at least, but so many people struggle with it. I got used to it. I love it. I don't have any problem taking it. But the capsules, that's where it's game changer. So, a lot of people ask, well, can I use both? So, I would say when you need a boost of energy, this is
the fastest acting. This is the quickest one to just get you feel a great do a a a brain fog flush immediately and then just get all the great benefits of glutathione with a quick little dose of the liquid one. With the capsules, I would say take throughout the day. This
one, if you take it at night, it's going to keep you up at night. But if you take the glutathione capsules at night, because it has to go through the digestive tract a bit, it takes time for it to break down and absorb. And that can be really, really beneficial for you while you sleep. Again, go to PubMed and look at um look at the data on
glutathione for detox during sleep. It's incredible. It's really incredible. And so, we've had a lot of patients share their experience of taking glutathione in the evening or at night time and sleeping great and letting their body just get to work with the glutathione. Fantastic. Definitely check that out.
See if that that works for you as well. Uh again, we made and then with the topical spray glutil, we tried to make it as easy as possible for as many people as possible to get your daily dose of reduced glutathione. That's what it's all about. Keep it keep it going, keep it consistent, and just let your
body really do a great job a great job at protecting itself. Well, again, we've been going about 45 minutes already. Um I've had a great time chattering away, but if you have any other questions, let me know. And definitely after this, um, if you're watching the recording of this
or whatever, if you have any questions, reach out to our office, info@danpermd.com or 8017967667. Look in the comments. I posted that there. Or just go to our website. Um, go to any of our websites. Just Google Danpersmd. You'll have all of our contact info. Look at Dan, Dr. Per,
sorry. Look at Dan's reviews. He's Dan to me. So, but look at all of his reviews. He loves showing those off that he's gotten hundreds. uh almost I think we're at 800 or right around 800 five-star reviews on Google over the years. Incredible. Um actually we had we
had a little deep dive into it and Dr. Perer Dan Perser MD is the number one rated solo practitioner solo physician in the whole United States and technically in the whole world whole universe. I think he did a video talking about that one time but no he is
literally the number one rated doctor in the United States. We looked at just Utah in our little city in our state first and then just kept expanding out and out from there. Literally, there's no single one practitioner out there that has as many five-star reviews as
Dan versus MD does. So, I just for whatever that's worth, it's I love seeing that. It's incredible. Um online store. Yeah, we have our physiciandesign.com products if that's what you're asking about. Otherwise, we do offer our testing. You can purchase
our testing right through dampersmd.com. Um, we we also, what's really cool with our testing, we have it bundled with a consult if you want to do it that way, which is great. So, consults with me or Justice, our other coach right now, they're a little bit cheaper than doing a consult bundle with Dr. Perer, and
he's booked out much further. So, if you want to get the ball rolling on this quickly, you want to get tested and come see your justice in the next couple weeks, then yeah, you can order your test today, get it drawn real quick, and then get on our books while we're waiting for your testing results to come back. Um, it's great. I love that we can
we can move so quickly now. We're doing all kinds of fun things, trying to update our backends and and making our whole process quicker to be able to help more and more people and get people through through the process more. One of the cool things too, uh, we've we hear
from a lot of our patients, they've tried a lot of other systems and a lot of other kind of methylation practices and products and processes out there, but then they end up with us. They've tried and they've gone to every single doctor, every single specialist out there, and they've never been able to
get to the root of their inflammation, of their gut pains, of their back pains, of their chronic fatigue, of their anxiety. They've been put on all kinds of medications and for decades and never have been able to get better. Nowhere near what they've needed to get to. Then
they end up with us. I'm glad I'm so glad that they finally do make it to us. And then we put them right through this process. Get genetic genetics done. Get your CMA done. Get on these right nutrients, the right supplements that your body needs, and they get better. Uh it's incredible to me. They just get
better. Um, so we have so many patients come through, get the testing done, we follow up with them over the next couple months after their first appointment, and then a lot of times we never see them again. They do great. They they have the tools that they need to go on and just keep doing on their own,
supplementing on their own. Maybe they'll come back a year or two later, get the testing done again, tweak their supplements, optimize things, and then see them again in a couple years down the road. That's what we've been doing. That's what we love seeing with so many people again all over the world.
Okay. Um, if there's no other questions or anything else, I'm gonna jump off. It's time for me to go home. I have my wife is pregnant right now. We're expecting our first son, uh, our first child, my little son. He's going to be born in just the next couple weeks. I'm so excited. So, you may not
see me for a little bit because I'm taking a little paternity leave to go be with the family. But, everything, our whole staff is here working night and day to try to help everything continue to float. One of my my brother Jared, he's actually Dr. Larkin. Dr. Jared Larkin. He's in Florida finishing up his
residency and he's uh he wants to come and continue fill Dr. Berser's feet or his shoes down the road. So, excuse me. Excuse me. I'm losing my voice now. We're a family business. Come come join our family and get this testing done and let's get you feeling great. Um,
otherwise, great talking with everyone today. I love seeing the comments. seeing people have success with these things. I've I've seen it in my own life and now I love to see it again and again in our patients lives. So just take care out there. We are here to help you every step of the way. I keep telling people
we are your little cheerleaders and we'll we just want to help you feel good so that you can take back take control of your own life. Any questions reach out to our office. We are here to help you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Um I'm just thinking everywhere else. We'll
