New Substack article on Biotin Deficiency - symptoms and causes. Like we see time and time again, blood serum levels may show normal amounts, but when you look at in
Wow I see all this almost every day in my office -- same exact thyroid related medical issues/complaints. After ten years of endocrinology research and 33 years in practice, I've concluded that a lot of my fellow doctors weren't really taught the nuances of thyroid care. Those include how patients need levels optimized, or how to really listen to patient's symptoms (and treat accordingly), and which labs to get at what time. So, I always tell patients to believe their ‘lying eyes’ (their symptoms are real), and not always the lab results (which can be inaccurate or not interpreted correctly).
Glutathione is a natural antioxidant found in every cell of our bodies. It has many uses within the cell from clearing free radicals to disabling toxins secreted by harmful bacteria. Ongoing research is constantly revealing all the amazing benefits that glutathione is able exert within our bodies. Biofilms A depiction of antibiotic resistant bacteria in a biofilm Biofilms are a thin, slimy film of bacteria that are able to adhere to a surface. One of the most commonly known biofilms is den
Infertility affects thousands of couples each year who struggle to find helpful advice. One common treatment recommended is In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). Although initial testing is performed, it is incredible how many doctors leap to IVF as an answer. The two reasons I would not recommend IVF is the treatment’s cost and scope. To complete the treatment, couples can expect to spend roughly $12,500 (Utah IVF average) while critical infertility issues (low testosterone and sperm count from pituitary, genetic, or nutritional factors) are rarely considered. Unfortunately, more natural female infer

My patient population is aging and concerned about memory loss. They are in a constant state of wonder about how to prevent those issues, and I have recently found an answer. Magnesium L-Threonate. It crosses the blood brain barrier and improves memory in a natural way. Magnesium L-Threonate is available today for everyone, young and old, who wants to be sharp, clear, and focused. I was looking into research on magnesium and the brain, when I ran into the MIT study published in 2010 showing Magnesium L-Threonate is the only form of magnesium to cross the blood-brain barrier and show observable
