While high dose melatonin may have some potential benefits, it's important to note that taking too much melatonin can also have negative side effects, such as daytime sleepiness, dizziness, and headaches. It's always best to speak with your healthcare provider before taking high doses of melatonin or any other supplement to determine if it's safe and appropriate for you.
That being said, I have tried High Dose Melatonin for myself and have have a great experience.
My results of 60-100mg at night of melatonin? All inflammation gone. Severe osteoarthritis pain in lower back completely resolved and gone. Feel like I am 30 (I am 60+). Also I have no myalgias even after working out or working in my garage or doing anything. It feels like I took two naproxen 220 mg twice a day, but have not (I rarely take that but only when my pain is above a 5 (like 6-8). Melatonin seems extremely anti-aging. I feel very good on it. (Note that it did take me about 30-40 days to get to this dose.)
No contraindications or side effects. In a study cited below participants were give 300mg a night of quick release (not extended or slow release) melatonin for two years without significant side effects (some rare day time drowsiness was noted by a few of the participants).
This may be a good option for you…
Nutricost Melatonin, look it up.
