Zinc is critical for Glucose Transport through the cell wall via the Insulin Receptor.
If you have low intracellular zinc level (much more telling and accurate versus serum levels) then this transport does not occur.
Early and milder is just "insulin resistance", later and more severe is death of the insulin receptors, and full blown diabetes.
Good luck if you get to this point.
Better to prevent this.
I see low intracellular zinc levels in 70% of the patients I test with our "CMA and REDOX" assay (Cellular Micronutrient Assay and Antioxidant Redox Cycle Challenge).
We flip the vast majority of early Type 2 Diabetics. No, this is not covered by insurance, sorry. They mostly don't pay for root cause treatments usually.
I don't know why.
But this how we do it.
Watch for the case I report on Sunday night 7PM MST at my NEW FACEBOOK LIVE.
