There are SEVERAL key nutrients you need to look at if you have MTHFR or POTS. There’s a lot of crossover, but your main ones to see are the B Vitamins, Iron, Lysine, and Folate. Don’t just look at serum blood levels, look at the deficienci
If you suffer with POTS, let’s get you better. A simple blood test will show which deficiencies you have, but specifically will show LOW IRON inside your cells. This is the main culprit and is easily reversible. No excuse, let’s get you bet

Wow I see all this almost every day in my office -- same exact thyroid related medical issues/complaints. After ten years of endocrinology research and 33 years in practice, I've concluded that a lot of my fellow doctors weren't really taught the nuances of thyroid care. Those include how patients need levels optimized, or how to really listen to patient's symptoms (and treat accordingly), and which labs to get at what time. So, I always tell patients to believe their ‘lying eyes’ (their symptoms are real), and not always the lab results (which can be inaccurate or not interpreted correctly).
Aloha, I feel it is important for us to take a moment and recognize how amazing our bodies are when they function at full capacity. Unfortunately, our bodies are not perfect and I feel it is worst when we know something is wrong and cannot do anything about it. In previous blog posts, I have talked about copper toxicity and fibromyalgia, however, I wanted to share my own experience on this topic. A few weeks ago I had terrible bone pain, so I went into my oncologist for scans to determine what it could possibly be. In my mind, I thought cancer had returned and began preparing for this reality.

I am a former Division 1 collegiate water polo athlete, coach, breast cancer survivor. I have worked in education for nine years after completing my master’s degree in Teaching & Learning. It wouldn’t surprise me if you think, “She doesn’t have any experience or

I see hundreds of men in my practice every year for Hypogonadism (medically low testosterone) with a serum total testosterone level below 400 ng/dl (very severe) creating severe fatigue. Hard to have sex, or even to consider performing, if you are exhausted! Assuming you have no trauma (pituitary, heart, testicles, or penis) and you are noticeably exhausted after sex, or too tired to get going, then it probably is your

Best match puts all-term matches before partial matches and related reading. Identical social posts and matching long titles across other sources are grouped when access is the same. Search covers published titles, descriptions, available article text, report overviews, and the full text of the nutrient, gene and learning-essential reference pages. Books, uploaded chapters and downloads-page reports are searchable through selected editorial guides and topic names; the original files and full book text are not published. Full Drive reports are not copied into search. Substack subscriber titles and public summaries are included; full subscriber content opens on Substack. Video transcripts are added when available.
